Something for your High Schoolers
This course provides a balanced visual arts program which guides students to achieve the standards in the visual arts and visual perception while participating in various forms of creative expression.
By request only, we are able to offer this VAPA course for 9 - 12th graders, meeting the a-g requirement for credit in applying to the UC system. However, this class is only being offered for enrichment at this time.

What Art 1 Offers
In this 1-year program, students will apply the elements of art in the following units: learning how to see, contour drawing, positive and negative space, value drawing, pen and ink drawing, linear perspective, color theory, watercolor, pastel, portraits, design concepts and careers.
This class is also offered for enrichment, and students can enroll at any time.
